Did Steve in the City pass away? I saw the link to this place posted at Ditch's board. Came here and looked around, and saw that his name was in a type of "in memorium" type of subject.
It sadly appears that way, Buzz. I've been sitting on this for a long time trying to process what exactly to say.
Last September he was battling back pain. Turns out it was cancer. He was placed in hospice at the end of November and the last time anyone appears to have seen him was December 2023.
He is sorely missed. I had planned to visit him and another member in the San Francisco area but unfortunately never made it.
I had a eulogy typed out at CGC but never posted it, you know why. I am very glad I didn't, since that accounts posts have been deleted.
Find it odd that those posts are deleted but not my original accounts. I mean, why not
