Well I paid a scalper for a Costco bundle, arrived yesterday. Its second gen, but after digging into it, probably a good choice.

Can't argue that it isn't a big step up for the platform though. Graphics are truly insane, very smooth and responsive. The controller is slightly bigger, and thats an improvement, its still nowhere near as bulky as the Xbox.

Hoping the FF Pixel Remaster series, which remasters FF 3,4,5 and 6 will be released on consoles possibly this autumn

I'm still waiting for mine. I refuse to pay scalper price for this game system. My PS3 is still holding up for now, but it's been super glitchy especially when streaming. Something wrong with the controllers which causes the system to think I'm pressing a bunch of buttons. So frustrating, but I can endure a little inconvenience over paying a premium for a new system.

I'm finally getting a PS5. I placed an order for it on Walmart's site and it shipped out on Wednesday. Hopefully it'll get here on Monday. Pretty excited, but I've got to wait for Gamestop to have another one of their Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale. I'm cheap so I only but the cheap but good titles.

PS Plus is still worth it for free games, and if you upgrade, there are tons of free back titles
