We adopted two cats back in November of 2021. They were about 7 months old at the time.
We named them Zeus and Apollo.

A few weeks ago, Zeus started losing weight and was not acting like himself. He didn't have his usual energy and was having trouble jumping. He also wasn't eating as much. Brought him to the vet. He had some kind of mass near his kidneys. He was jaundiced, and on top of all that, a blood test revealed feline leukemia.

We had to put him to sleep. Two year old cat. Just brutal.

Thanks. Very tough on my daughter. She loved that cat and he was a very affectionate cat too. I've had cats all my life and I've never experienced anything like what happened to Zeus.

We had a purebred ocicat flown to us from Montreal that ended up getting a deadly feline disease and dying within two months. It sucks
