113 degrees Thur and Fri. 109 yesterday. 106 today.
And muggy smoke-filled skies.

It's almost 90 here. It's 12:30P and the house is already feeling warm inside.

Southern Oregon.
The weather channel rarely shows an image of the West coast that includes us, so when they show the temps, San Fran and Seattle shows 70's. Seems to me triple digits is a noteworthy thing, and should be mentioned between those 2 cities.
Everybody hates Oregon.

We got flash flooding up here today. Rained about 1" in 20 minutes or so. I'm on a hill, so no flooding for me, but some areas got it.
I'm glad for the rain.

Not true. I have family that live there, and I plan to move to Portland or Salem area within two years.Top Rawman wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 8:36 pmSouthern Oregon.

ew, Portland. I could never live there. Almost as woke a Seattle. There was a Woke Bar that recently opened, and closed its doors after 5 days because some of the diverse groups were at odds with others, and some groups felt they weren't being represented well enough. And the employees DEMANDED shared ownershipThe Brain wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 9:06 pmNot true. I should point out my contempt for Portland is decades old- long before woke meant anything other than interrupting someone's sleep. The first time I drove in the city I figured the engineers (or whoever decides the layout of the streets) were throwing spaghetti noodles at a wall, then tracing them out on a map.
